This ring fits first time. No fiddling about. Quality and finish are excellent. Same quality as the entire range of Filter-dude products.

Works well with Sigma 150-600mm lens and Lee or Filter Dude filter holder. Price is GREAT. A fraction of big name brands

I bought this adapter ring for two reasons, besides wanting to mount 100mm filters to the lens. First, the value is outstanding considering the function of this ring and compared to the big name brand rings. This one is a fraction of the cost, does the same thing, etc. Second, I've been using a Filter Dude Lee Compatible Filter Holder, 100mm size, for several years now and have found my holder to be virtually identical to the big name brand, does the same thing, and has never yet failed to do precisely what it was supposed to do and was intended to do. So, that gave me the confidence to order this filter holder adapter ring, that the quality, workmanship, functionality and value would be outstanding. I am not surprised or disappointed. It works exactly as you would desire.
I do have one concern, and it has nothing to do with the quality or workmanship of this product, of the filter holder itself. As noted above, I am using this on the rather new Nikon 200-500mm 5.6E lens. At 200mm setting you may see some very slight vignetting. This rapidly disappears as you increase the focal length. As I said, this is not a function of the adapter or filter holder, per se, but in using 100mm filters on this particular lens. I have negated much of this by removing the screw-in UV filter.
I highly recommend this adapter ring, and the filter holder too, for that matter.
